Vectors

A vector is a mathematical concept that is really two things rolled into one.  Vectors are composed of a number that represents the vector's magnitude, and a direction.  Vectors are typically drawn as an arrow, where the arrows length represents its magnitude, and it direction represents its direction.  A vector need not be drawn as an arrow, a vector can be described as words alone.  For example, a velocity of 50 m/s North, is a vector.
